Selling Power 60 Best Companies to Sell For

Rochester, N.Y. (July 17, 2024) –  Paychex, Inc., a leading provider of integrated human capital management software solutions for human resources, employee benefits, insurance services, and payroll, has once again been named to the Selling Power 60 Best Companies to Sell For list. This is the 11th time Selling Power magazine has included Paychex on this annual list of top sales organizations.

“It’s an honor for Paychex to be recognized by Selling Power as a top sales organization,” said Mark Bottini, senior vice president of sales at Paychex. “Our inclusion for the 11th time shows the impact Paychex has on our customers and employees by delivering on our purpose of helping businesses succeed. We continue to equip our sales professionals with the tools, development opportunities, and a solutions portfolio that is unmatched to help them reach their fullest potential. This enables us to attract and retain top talent across the industry.”

The Paychex sales organization is strategically designed to create strong partnerships across the company among sales, service, marketing, finance, strategy, and product. This supports the ability of the sales team to adjust and respond to market shifts and further help businesses implement HR, employee benefits, insurance services, and payroll solutions to meet their needs. The Paychex sales team has continued to leverage advanced technologies to optimize and drive efficiency within the sales process to reduce administrative tasks and deliver best-in-class experiences to prospective customers.

The methodology for the ranking is the result of years of research, according to Selling Power. Based on a proprietary methodology developed over several years, companies are ranked in each of the following categories to determine the list:

  1. Company overview
  2. Compensation and benefits
  3. Hiring, sales training, and sales enablement
  4. Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion
  5. AI incorporation into improving sales processes

The companies included on the list have sales forces ranging from fewer than 100 salespeople to companies with salesforce numbers in the thousands

“The Best Companies to Sell For have mastered the alignment of people, processes, and technologies and have created sales organizations that excel in hiring, onboarding, training, and compensation of their salespeople,” said Gerhard Gschwandtner, founder and CEO of Selling Power. “What attracts salespeople to work for these leading organizations is their outstanding cultures, their commitment to diversity, and their steady support of the sales team by servant leadership and the introduction of process improving technologies. All of this, combined, provides meaningful work environments that offer unlimited opportunities to win.”

"These companies aim at a higher level of professionalism and trust, which in turn leads to increased sales and a lower turnover of the sales force," Gschwandtner continued.
