Mason Argiropoulos

Mason Argiropoulos joined Paychex as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in April 2024. In this role, he is responsible developing and executing the company’s HR strategy with a focus on driving an unmatched employee experience and attracting, retaining, and developing talent with the knowledge and skill sets that will position Paychex for growth and success.

Argiropoulos came to Paychex with 20 years of leadership experience including more than a decade serving in a CHRO capacity. Most recently, he served as CHRO for UnitedLex, a global legal services provider with employees in 23 countries around the world. During his tenure with UnitedLex, he established a unified HR Business Partner function and global centers of excellence in talent acquisition, total rewards, learning & development, culture & engagement, and HR information systems (HRIS). Prior to his time at UnitedLex, Argiropoulos served as CHRO at iQor, a global business process outsourcing firm where he led a team of more than 300 HR professionals in more than a dozen countries.

Argiropoulos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University. He has served on the Executive Committee of the American Heart Association Heart Walk and the board of the UnitedLex Upward! Foundation. Argiropoulos currently volunteers as a youth baseball and basketball coach.
